Weidmüller Interface GmbH & Co. has its headquarters in Detmold. In 2020, it expanded its site and also settled in Paderborn, where 250 employees work on automation and digitalisation solutions. The focus there is on close cooperation with the scientific community. In addition to Wiedmüller Interface GmbH & Co., the University of Paderborn, the Fraunhofer Institute and S&N Invent AG are also renting space on Zukunftsmeile 2.
